Applications for Knowledge Migrant Visas

Dutch migration and work permit

Navigating Dutch migration law can be complex, but we make it simple. Dutch migration law provides specific visa procedures for highly skilled workers originating from outside of the EU. Foreign employees normally require a Dutch work permit (tewerkstellingsvergunning, TWV), but EU, European Economic Area (EEA,) i.e. Liechtenstein, Norway and Iceland) and Swiss nationals are exempt from this requirement.

We advise on and submit applications for the Orientation Year Permit for highly educated individuals who have recently graduated or obtained a PhD in the Netherlands. This permit, valid for 1 year and gives expat graduates after graduation the opportunity to find a job or start their business.

Highly qualified non-EU/EEA nationals may apply for the EU Blue Card. This is a combined residence and work permit, which enables employment in the Netherlands with additional benefits, such as facilitated mobility within the EU.

We can assist you throughout the application process for the individuals involved, as well as for their family members.
